Floral Design in New South Wales

Aisle and Stem designs florals for weddings and events across New South Wales, with published markets in Sydney and Newcastle. NSW draws on the largest wholesale flower market in the country, so variety availability is the widest in Australia and lead times are the shortest.

Where we work in New South Wales

Sydney and Newcastle are our published NSW markets, meaning we hold established florist relationships there and can speak to venues, council permits and seasonal supply in detail. Beyond those, we regularly work in the Hunter Valley, the Southern Highlands, the Blue Mountains and the South Coast.

What is different about working in NSW

Two things. The Sydney wholesale market is the deepest in the country, which means more varieties available at shorter notice than anywhere else. And a much higher share of NSW ceremonies happen on public land, which means permits.

Harbour foreshores, headlands, national park sites and council beach reserves are all permit controlled, and the permit conditions decide what florals are possible before any design work starts. We check them first.

Lead times in New South Wales

Shorter than anywhere else in the country, because the market is here. A locally supplied variety is a one to two week decision, and an imported one is two to three weeks. What takes longer in NSW is permits, which run six to twelve weeks for popular ceremony sites.
